'Armed And Dangerous' Man Wanted In South Jersey, Prosecutor Says

A man was found shot dead.

BRIDGETON, NJ — A 32-year-old man who should be considered armed and dangerous is wanted in connection with a deadly shooting, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office said.

Rynell L. Lawrence, of Bridgeton, was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose (in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-4A(1)), second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon (in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-5B), and fourth-degree certain persons to not have a weapon.

On Wednesday, at around 8 p.m., officers responded to the Burlington Manor Complex along S. Burlington Road for a report of someone who was shot.

They found Quashawn T. White, 33, of Newark, after he was hit multiple times. He later died from his injuries.

Lawrence should not be approached if located, authorities said.
