Barber Placed Spy Cameras Inside Bathrooms At Gloucester Co. Barbershop: Police

The business owner reported the matter to police and has fully cooperated with investigators, authorities said.

MANTUA, NJ — A Gloucester County barber is facing charges after authorities say he placed a hidden camera inside the barbershop's bathrooms.

The owner of Gino’s Barbershop informed police Friday that a spy camera was found inside a bathroom at the establishment.

Investigators found that Richard Doerrmann, a barber at Gino's, placed spy cameras in the public restrooms on multiple occasions, police said. The cameras captured victims' intimate body parts, according to law enforcement.

Police executed search warrants at Doerrmann's home and on his electronic devices.

Doerrmann, 55, of Mickleton, was charged with third-degree invasion of privacy and two counts of fourth-degree invasion of privacy.

Attorney information for Doerrmann wasn't immediately available in online court records.

The barbershop owner has fully cooperated with law enforcement, police said.
