Bomb Threats At South Jersey High School Lead To Teen's Arrest: Authorities
The 17-year-old was connected to five different cases.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — A 17-year-old was arrested after five different bomb threats at West Deptford High School, the West Deptford Police Department said on Friday.
The minor was charged with two counts of second-degree making false reports involving bombs or deadly weapons, two counts of third-degree terroristic threats, one count of third-degree circulating false reports of impending disaster, and one count of second-degree conspiracy.
Throughout March and April of 2026, officers responded for false reports of bomb threats and/or people who were armed at the school.

Each case revealed no devices or people that posed a threat, police said.
A 17-year-old suspect was arrested on April 19 after a collaborative effort with the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office and the FBI.

The teen was taken to a youth rehabilitation facility pending an appearance in juvenile court.
