The TV content you're already paying for is now available to download free to your mobile device.
Holiday travel just got a little easier for Comcast customers. The Xfinity TV Player App now allows customers who subscribe to SHOWTIME®, STARZ, ENCORE or MOVIEPLEX to download movies to their mobile devices or laptops. This is perfect for travelling by trains, planes or automobiles and to keep the kids busy at Grandma’s house.
Download kids’ movies like The Muppets, Finding Nemo and Cars 2. For adults, a wide-selection of movies is available for download along with series like Homeland, Dexter, and Boss.
The app still allows customers to stream more than 18,000 On Demand choices as well, but the download option is a great for those times when a reliable WiFi connection won’t be available. Verizon Wireless customers with 4G LTE get the added benefit of downloading and streaming over their cellular network.
