Celebrate Ice Cream Day With Deals From These West Deptford-Area Shops

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — The screams for ice cream will likely be louder than usual Sunday in South Jersey and around the United States.

'Why' you ask? Because Sunday is also the 38th observance of Ice Cream Day in the United States, according to the International Dairy Foods Association.

With inflation at its highest level in decades, we searched for ice cream deals in and around West Deptford to commemorate this unofficial holiday. The results of our search are below.

• Alden's Ice Cream says it is offering $1 off all of its ice cream products. Look for their frozen treats inside supermarkets like Aldi's (they have a location at 203 S. Broad Street in Woodbury) and ShopRite (they have one at 1077 Mantua Pike in West Deptford).

• Coldstone Creamery says it is providing free delivery on select online orders and ... if you buy $25 in gift cards from ColdStoneCreamery.com you may get a $5 Bonus eCard.

• There are also a number of lesser-known but still equally amazing ice cream shops like Dot's Homemade Ice Cream and Water Ice at 505 Elm Ave. in Woodbury Heights.

• Last but not least, we're almost positive any diner in the area, like Hollywood Cafe & Sports Bar at 940 Mantua Pike in Woodbury Heights and Country House Restaurant at 224 Delaware Street in Thorofare will have some kind of ice cream available.
