Center for Displaced Homemakers hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Resource Fair on Oct. 15

The Center for Displaced Homemakers is excited to invite you to our Ribbon CuttingCeremony and Resource Fair on Thursday, October 15, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Rowan College of South Jersey’s Gloucester Campus in the College Center. The Resource Fair is free and open to the public.

Formerly known as People in Transition, the Center for Displaced Homemakers is celebrating its new name and the next chapter of our commitment to supporting individuals through career, education, and community resources.

This event is a great opportunity to connect with local organizations, explore available services, and take advantage of resources to support your personal and professional goals. Organizations such as Inspira Health and the Gloucester County One-Stop Career Center/Workforce Development Board will be among those represented.

Enjoy free professional headshots, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, job readiness support, community resources, workshops, and CDH enrollment opportunities at this engaging community event.

Participants can also connect with local organizations, create vision boards, contribute to an inspiration wall, and enter a raffle by completing an attendance passport.

We hope you will join us, connect with valuable community resources, enjoy some refreshments, and take advantage of everything the fair has to offer. Whether you are looking for employment support, exploring educational opportunities, connecting with community organizations, or simply taking time to focus on your goals, there will be something for you.
