Cheapest Gas: Liberty Least after Hurricane Irene

With the impending arrival of Hurricane Irene, gas prices spiked at the end of last week, but they’ve slipped a little bit off their highs over the weekend.

And while a gallon of regular around the area can vary as much as 20¢ per gallon, all the way to $3.599, the least expensive is over on–yes, you guessed it–Mantua Pike, where Liberty Gas had dropped to $3.379 Sunday night.

If you’re filling up this morning, that’s your best bet, but there are some other spots that aren’t much more.
