Cornfield Fire Sends Smoke Around Gloucester Co.
The large brush fire has been contained. But residents in surrounding towns may experience smoke impacts.

ELK TOWNSHIP, NJ — A large cornfield fire is sending smoke around Gloucester County, officials said Tuesday.
The 4-acre brush fire has been contained as of 4 p.m. Tuesday. But residents in surrounding areas may experience smoke conditions, according to the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management.
Smoke impacts could extend to Clayton, Franklin Township, Glassboro, Washington Township and residents along Route 55.

The fire broke out in a cornfield near Aura Road in Elk Township.
