14th Annual “A Taste of Gloucester County”

The Volunteer Center of Gloucester County cordially invites the community to the  14th Annual “A Taste of Gloucester County”, presented by Wells Fargo, on Monday, April 16, 2012 .  The celebration will take place from 6-8:30 pm at Auletto Caterers in Deptford, NJ.

Taste is the Volunteer Center’s signature charitable event, with over 400 participants each year.  At this year’s Old Hollywood themed event, guests will walk the red carpet, dodge paparazzi and dine with the “stars of volunteering”.  The evening will offer wine tasting as well as a wide variety of cuisines from over 20 of Gloucester County’s best restaurants and eateries.  Some of the participating restaurants include Adelphia; Arugula; Auletto Caterers; blueplate; JG Cook’s Carolina Blue, Riverview Inn, and the Telford Inn; Lazy Lanigan’s Publick House; Little Beef’s; Olive Garden; Outback Steakhouse; Venice Pizza & Italian Eatery; and Wedgewood Country Club.  Participating desserts establishments include Classic Cake Company; Cold Stone Creamery; Dippy’s Ice Cream; Duffy’s Fine Chocolates; Edible Arrangements; Mudgies Brownies; and Sweetsboro Pastry Shoppe. Wine and other beverages will also be available compliments of Allied Beverage Group, Dayna’s Daiquiris, Heritage Vineyards and Wagonhouse Winery.

Against the backdrop of Auletto’s beautiful Sunset Ballroom, guests will also enjoy live jazz music by Edwards Entertainment, silent auctions, 50/50 raffles and much more.  A Taste of Gloucester County is open to the entire community for a cost of $60 per person.  For an additional $15 per person, guests are able to enjoy a special fine wine and hors d’oeuvres reception beginning at 5pm.  To guarantee a seat, advance ticket purchase is highly recommended.  All proceeds from this event benefit the mission of the Volunteer Center of Gloucester County.
