Calligraphy and Cursive: the Art of Writing

"Step away from your computer and learn the fine art of lettering with Maureen Peters, a graphic artist specializing in calligraphy and pen and ink renderings. She has taught calligraphy and illumination throughout the tri-state area. She is currently president of Philadelphia Calligraphers' Society, as well as the owner of Letterworks Art Studio. Ms. Peters is a featured artist at the Elfreth's Alley, Philadelphia, where her work is on display at the museum store.

Enhance your handwriting and learn about the fine art of written communication prior to the introduction of the printing press. These classes will set you on the road to engraving your own invitations. Join us and keep building your artful writing on Thursday, March 1, 15 and 29 at 7 p.m."
