Fifth Day Of Coronavirus Testing Set For Gloucester County

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — The coronavirus drive-through testing site at Rowan College of South Jersey will open for a fifth day on May 14, county officials announced on Friday.

Testing will begin at 10 a.m., and will be done by appointment only. The college is located at 1400 Tanyard Road in Sewell. Scheduling for May 14 began Friday morning. Anyone calling before then will not get an appointment.

The Gloucester County Department of Health will be accepting prescreening calls on the following dates and times:

• Friday, May 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Monday, May 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, May 13 8 a.m. to noon

The site is run by Inspira Health, Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Josette Palmer of Happy Healthy You Medical Practice, Cooper University Health Care, the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Gloucester County Department of Health and the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management.

It is for Gloucester County residents only. Proof of residency, such as a passport or driver's license, is required.

Residents 18 and older with symptoms of the new coronavirus must call 856-218-4142 to be pre-screened. Residents must have their insurance information available when they call. Once pre-screening is complete, an appointment time will be scheduled. Anyone without symptoms will not be eligible for testing.
