A former beauty queen originally from South Jersey died after being found unresponsive in New York this weekend, nj.com reports.
Kiersten Cerveny, 38, was found in an apartment building with bruises around her neck Sunday morning, according to The New York Daily News.
She was reportedly there to visit someone who was out partying on Saturday night. Police have spoken to one of two men seen carrying her down the stairs in a video, according to Newsday.

Cerveny’s maiden name is Kiersten Rickenbach. She graduated from Washington Township High School in 1995, and was named America’s Junior Miss, according to nj.com.
