Fourth Day Of Coronavirus Testing Set For Gloucester County

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — The coronavirus drive-through testing site at Rowan College of South Jersey will open for a fourth day on April 30, county officials announced on Thursday.

Testing will begin at 10 a.m., and will be done by appointment only. The college is located at 1400 Tanyard Road in Sewell. Scheduling for April 30 will begin at 8:30 a.m. Friday. Anyone calling before then will not get an appointment.

The Gloucester County Department of Health will be accepting prescreening calls on the following dates and times:

• Friday, April 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Monday, April 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, April 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, April 29 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The site is run by Inspira Health, Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Josette Palmer of Happy Healthy You Medical Practice, Cooper University Health Care, the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Gloucester County Department of Health and the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management.

It is for Gloucester County residents only. Proof of residency, such as a passport or driver's license, is required.

Residents 18 and older with symptoms of the new coronavirus must call 856-218-4142 to be pre-screened. Residents must have their insurance information available when they call. Once pre-screening is complete, an appointment time will be scheduled. Anyone without symptoms will not be eligible for testing.
