Free Workshops Offered through RCSJ's People in Transition
Rowan College of South Jersey's Center for People in Transition (Gloucester campus) offers a number of free workshops in October.

The Center for People in Transition, located on Rowan College of South Jersey’s (RCSJ) Gloucester campus, hosts a number of empowerment, health and financial workshops during the month of November. Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are free and open to the public. Registration is mandatory. Call 856-415-2222 or email peopleintransition@rcsj.edu to register. You must be 18 years or older to attend.
“Conflict Management” --- Conflicts are an inevitable part of life; it is how we react and respond that makes all the difference. Join Kristen Wilson, Student Empowerment Administrator, to learn how to identify emotional triggers, sources of conflict and typical responses, discover the benefits of active listening and discuss strategies for resolution. This workshop will be held on Monday, November 4, from 6 – 8 p.m.
“The Skill of Navigating the Holidays – Finding Peace When You are Unhappy” --- If you are unhappy due to a separation, a divorce or even a loved one’s death the holidays can be an especially difficult period. Sharon Roth-Lichtenfeld, Certified Professional Life Coach, will guide you through removing the burdensome expectation of happiness from the holidays, and share how planning ahead, setting realistic goals and seeking out the proper support can ward off depression and help you find peace. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 13, from 7 – 9 p.m.
