Glassboro Man Charged with Child Sexual Assault

Raymond J. Martin is out on bail, but faces multiple charges after an investigation by Glassboro police and the county prosecutor's office.

A Glassboro man was charged Friday with sexually assaulting a minor at his wife’s home-based child-care service, the county prosecutor’s office said Tuesday.

After an investigation by the Glassboro Police Department, assisted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office major crimes unit, Raymond J. Martin, 44, of Franklin Road in Glassboro, was accused of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Martin posted the $175,000 cash bail set by Superior Court Judge M. Christine Allen-Jackson; as a condition of his release, he was ordered to have no unsupervised contact with minors.
