Gloucester County Government: Debris Removal Resources Provided By Director Robert M. Damminger

Robert M. Damminger, Director of the Gloucester County Board of Commissioners, has donated dumpsters to the Wenonah Borough to clear debris off the streets. 

His statement:

“The Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Public Works have been working to clear our roads for the safety of our residents. With the help of agencies many roads are clearing, but the debris remains. 

Priority has been to clear the streets to allow for emergency crews to begin restoring power. 

The Gloucester County Board of Commissioners has brough dumpsters to Southeast Avenue in Wenonah. They will remain until filled, dumped and brought back for residents use.  

The Commissioners have also brought dumpsters to residents affected in Harrison Twp. at Salvatore Ave. We are asking for these dumpsters to remain for those affected on Salvatore Ave. and Josephine Lane.

We will continue to offer these dumpsters to all affected townships and borough as streets continue to be cleared across the County. 

For all residents affected by the storm, the Gloucester County Landfill is open today, September 4, 2021 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and September 5, 2021 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for debris removal.”

The Gloucester County Solid Waste Complex (Landfill) is located at 503 Monroeville Rd, Swedesboro, NJ 08085.
