Gloucester County Meal Sites For Seniors To Close Tuesday
The six sites throughout the county will be closed until further notice to protect the health of seniors, officials announced on Monday.
GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — All six congregate meal sites in Gloucester County are closing until further notice as of Tuesday, officials announced Monday morning.
Officials cited the health and safety of the county’s senior residents as they combat the outbreak of new coronavirus. Home delivered meals, through Serv-A-Tray, will continue to be delivered.
“Social distancing is the best way to contain the virus and keep yourself and others safe,” Gloucester County Freeholder Jim Jefferson, liaison to the Division of Health and Human Services, said.
