Linda Coppinger Named Special Projects Coordinator at Rothkoff Law Group, Elder & Disability Law Firm

Rothkoff Law Group (RLG), an elder and disability law firm in the Philadelphia region and headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ, is pleased to announce that Linda Coppinger has been named Special Projects Coordinator. Coppinger brings excellent experience to Rothkoff Law Group as she worked many years with the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter. She began serving at the Alzheimer’s Association as Executive Director South Jersey in 2007. A highlight of her Alzheimer’s experience was being appointed by Governor Christie to serve on the New Jersey Alzheimer’s Disease Study Commission and helping to create an extensive report detailing recommendations to make New Jersey a dementia-capable state.

Coppinger’s extensive non-profit experience has given her a wealth of knowledge about advocacy, fundraising, grant writing, training, management and administration. With this background, she is planning the Rothkoff Law Group’s Inaugural Symposium for Eldercare Professionals being called “Eldercare: What Does the Future Bring?” that will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in two locations in 2018. On April 12, 2018, it will take place in Mt. Laurel, NJ at the DoubleTree Suites and in Bucks County, PA on October 25, 2018 at the Sheraton Hotel Bucks County in Langhorne, PA.

“We are excited to offer a symposium that is unlike any other and know that with Linda at the helm, we’re sure to present a day of useful education we all need,” said Jerry Rothkoff, founder of Rothkoff Law Group.

Prior to Coppinger working in the senior community, she spent nine years working as Assistant Executive Director at the Girl Scouts of the South Jersey Pines and Director of Fund Development & Communications at the Girl Scouts of Camden County. She has worked in in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities for many years, including stints at the Arc of Camden County in Berlin, NJ and the Bancroft School in Haddonfield. She began her career at Robin’s Nest, Inc. working with at-risk adolescent girls.

Community involvement has been a long-time passion for Coppinger. The new chair of the Board of Trustees at the Alice Paul Institute, Inc. in Mount Laurel, she has been involved with their board since 2012. She’s had long time commitment to the Girl Scouts and volunteered for ten years in a variety of positions including President of the Board of Directors at the Camden County Council before taking on a professional position with them. She also is a volunteer member of Team Pocono at the Pocono Raceway. She was a founding member of the Burlington County Regional Chamber’s Ambassador Club and served as one of their ambassadors for ten years.

Coppinger graduated from Rowan University with a degree in Elementary Education and holds a Masters of Organizational Leadership from Rider University. Originally from Woodbridge, New Jersey, she resides in Lindenwold with her husband George and their two grown daughters, Kirsten and Courtney.
