Man Guilty Of Sexually Assaulting A Minor In Gloucester County, Prosecutor Says

MULLICA HILL, NJ — A 60-year-old man was convicted of sexually assaulting a minor, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said.
Luis A. Joaquin-Nunez, of Mullica Hill, was found guilty as part of a plea deal on Thursday to first-degree sexual assault of a minor.
On April 12, 2023, a child reported that Joaquin-Nunez sexually assaulted them at a Mullica Hill home.

He was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault of a minor, second-degree sexual assault of a minor, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
In accordance with the plea agreement, Joaquin-Nunez will be sentenced to 15 years in jail without parole. He will then be subject to lifetime parole supervision when he is released.

Joaquin-Nunez will also have to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law and is prohibited from contacting the victim.
