Man Killed After Car Hits Tree, Overturns In South Jersey: Police
The driver was extracted from his vehicle while unconscious, police said. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
HARRISON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man died after his vehicle overturned and struck a tree in Gloucester County, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 10:25 p.m. Friday on Swedesboro Road in Harrison Township, police said. Arriving officers found Johnny Kustera unconscious inside an overturned vehicle.
Kustera, 56, of Swedesboro, was extracted from the vehicle and taken to Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. He was later flown to Cooper Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The crash occurred as Kustera drove westbound on Swedesboro Road, police said. Then, for an unknown reason, his 2013 Cadillac CTS left the roadway and struck a tree near Windsor Road, according to the investigation from law enforcement.
Swedesboro Road was closed for about 3 hours between North Main Street and Tomlin Station Road.
