Man Killed After Losing Control Of Motorcycle: Police

He remained conscious after he was thrown from the bike, and was able to crawl to a utility pole before passing out, police said.

MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 59-year-old Winslow Township man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle in Monroe Township on Wednesday, police said.

John DiCarlo, of the Blue Anchor section of the township, was riding his red 2001 Harley Davidson north on Broadlane Road when he entered a sharp curve in the road that went to the left. His motorcycle drifted right, and the front tire left the road just north of Winslow Road, police said.

This is when DiCarlo lost control of the motorcycle, and the bike fell on its side, police said. DiCarlo was thrown from the bike. When he landed, he was still conscious, witnesses told police. He crawled to a nearby utility pole before passing out.
