WOOLWICH TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Pennsylvania man was killed in a crash in the southbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike, police said.
Andrew M. Aaron, 48, of Glenolden, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle in Woolwich Township, Gloucester County when he lost control of the motorcycle a little before 10 p.m. on Thursday, according to authorities.
His motorcycle struck a guardrail, entered the left shoulder of the road, went across both lanes of the turnpike and then was struck by a Lexus that was in the right lane, authorities said.

Aaron died from his injuries, according to authorities.
The driver of the Lexus was taken to the hospital, according to authorities. Police have not released that person's name or medical condition.

The crash was still under investigation as of Friday morning, authorities said.
