Morgan Brown Leads WDHS Bowling In Big Way

The standout junior broke the 700 mark in a win over Lindenwold Monday.

. .

West Deptford junior Morgan Brown came into the bowling season with a heavy mantle from last season and big goals for this year, but if she keeps it up the way she's done so far, those goals might not be so lofty, after all.

She rolled a 761 series Monday afternoon, opening with a 248 and following it with a 247 and a 266, to pace the Eagles girls' squad to an easy win over Lindenwold. She'd already posted several series in the 600s thus far this month, proving coach Aaron Burr wasn't kidding when he said she looked stellar in the preseason.

It was a good day to be a Brown in general, too.
