Motorcyclist Killed In South Jersey Crash

The crash happened along state Route 55 northbound in Cumberland County over the weekend, according to New Jersey State Police.

VINELAND, NJ — A motorcyclist from South Jersey was killed in a three-vehicle accident on state Route 55 northbound in Vineland over the weekend, police said.

Anthony Giordano, 35, of Blackwood, was killed from injuries he suffered when his Honda motorcycle struck a Nissan and threw him into the path of a Porsche shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, New Jersey State Police told Patch.

The medical conditions of the Nissan's driver — Brenda Iqbal, 60, of Millville — and the Porsche's driver — Ione Thomas, 44, of Williamstown — were not released.

The accident remained under investigation as of Monday evening, New Jersey State Police said.
