Over 100 Companies Set For Gloucester County's Mega Job Fair
Gloucester County's Mega Job Fair is set for March 29 at Rowan College at Gloucester County.
More than 100 companies will be in attendance at Gloucester County’s 2019 Mega Job Fair on Friday, March 29, 9 a.m. to noon at the Rowan College at Gloucester County gymnasium.
“The Mega Job Fair is one of the largest job-seeking resources the county has to offer, benefiting both employers and applicants on a large scale,” Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said. “It is a great way to connect, network, and even interview on the spot with over one hundred different employers who need new employees.”
More than 2,000 job seekers were introduced to a variety of companies in Gloucester County seeking to hire as of October, according to Gloucester County Freeholder Heather Simmons, Liaison to the Department of Economic Development.

“The workshops are an excellent way to help jobs seekers prepare for the upcoming Mega Job Fair,” Simmons said. “The workshops focus on resume writing, interview techniques and other important aspects to improve an applicant’s chances of being hired either on the spot, or in the near future.”
Attendees should make sure to dress in business appropriate clothing, bring copies of their resume, and be prepared for the possibility of an immediate interview.

The Gloucester County Workforce Development Board will hold a series of workshops in advance of the fair to help jobseekers prepare. They will be held as follows:
Tuesday, March 19, 2019, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
