Accident On Route 322 Cleared: Police

An accident involving an overturned dump truck on Route 322 has been cleared, Woolwich Township police said Monday afternoon. All lanes of the road were closed in both directions between Kings Highway and the New Jersey Turnpike, according to 511nj.org.

"Route 322 is open," the Woolwich Township Police Department said in a Facebook post. "Thank you for your understanding."

Two other cars were also involved in the crash, in which gravel was spilled all over the road, according to 6 ABC. Another car was badly damaged in the front. The cause of the accident wasn't immediately known.

Woolwich Township police responded to the scene. A spokesperson for the police department wasn't immediately available Monday afternoon. Patch will provide updates on this breaking news story as more information becomes available.
