Pedestrian Killed In Early-Morning South Jersey Collision: Police

DEPTFORD, NJ — A pedestrian sustained fatal injuries from a crash early Sunday morning in Deptford, police said.

At about 5:30 a.m., a vehicle struck a 28-year-old man while he crossed the road around Delsea Drive and Central Avenue, officials said. The driver stayed at the scene, according to Deptford police.

Authorities haven't publicly identified anyone involved.

"Further information regarding this incident will be released once proper notifications are completed," police said Sunday.
