'Petrified' Dog Hit By Car, Reported Missing In Gloucester County, Police Say

The owner asked that you not approach the dog.

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — A dog that was hit by a car is missing in South Jersey, the Washington Township Police Department said.

Izzy was hit in the Washington Lake Park area and is "petrified" and "running," officials added.

She was last seen in the area of "Big Swing Golf" on Salina Road in Sewell on Wednesday morning.

The dog's owner asks that anyone who sees Izzy not call her by name, approach, or whistle at her to try to get her to run towards them.
