Plane Crash Kills 2 In Cumberland County: State Police
A small airplane crashed outside a home in Cumberland County on Monday afternoon, officials said, killing both people aboard.
UPPER DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two people are dead after a small aircraft crashed in Cumberland County on Monday afternoon, officials said.
The single-engine Aeronca 7AC airplane crashed in a residential yard on Parvin Mill Road in Upper Deerfield Township around 2 p.m., state and federal officials said. Two people were on board.
The road is closed for investigation. A small, "heavily-damaged" yellow airplane was visible in the yard from ABC6 helicopter footage of the crash.

Officials have not released the names of the deceased or the aircraft's registration number.
The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash, the FAA said.
