Power Plant Groundbreaking Postponed
The shift in the State of the State address means West Deptford Energy will have to wait for their official start.

Assembly minority leader late Monday night into Tuesday, and those ripples are being felt even in West Deptford, where West Deptford Energy's scheduled groundbreaking on its 738-megawatt natural gas-fired power plant, , has been postponed.
, now also set for Tuesday, was the major factor in the postponement; with major players such as Gov. Chris Christie and state Senate President Stephen Sweeney both playing roles in the ceremonial groundbreaking, it was unlikely they would be able to rearrange their schedules to accommodate both events.
A new date for the groundbreaking has yet to be decided.
