Are you interested in a hands-on career in advanced manufacturing? RCSJ is offering a FREE CNC Operator Certificate Program (ETEC 158) starting September 1, 2026, at the Cumberland and Gloucester campuses.

In this course, you’ll gain hands-on experience with:

  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining HAAS CNC machines
  • Producing precision metal parts
  • Reading blueprints, GD&T, and work orders
  • Using precision measurement tools
  • Understanding CNC program execution
  • Following safe and efficient manufacturing practices

Students who complete the course will have the opportunity to take the nationally recognized NIMS CNC Milling Operations certification exam. Successful completion and certification may also lead to direct-hire opportunities with RCSJ manufacturing industry partners.
