'Ride Your Horse To A Bar Day' Brings Special Visitor In NJ

"Dodge" was welcomed from a stable to a table.

FRANKLINVILLE, NJ — A South Jersey couple made sure the Garden State was represented this year for "National Ride Your Horse to a Bar Day."

Shane Jarrett, of Williamstown, and his wife celebrated by riding their horse, "Dodge," three miles from their farm to the Mill Tavern in Franklinville on Thursday.

The couple owns and boards horses at American Ride Stables in Williamstown.

Others from across the United States also got themselves in the saddle for the day and took to social media to share their new guests.

In Louisiana, outdoor seating was made available for "Willy" at Abita Brew Pub in Abita Springs.

The party, however, was a bit bigger at The Tiki Tavern in Southport, North Carolina.
