Man Shot Woman's Car As She Rushed To Police In South Jersey: Officials
Tramaine Norman fired the victim's gun after she entered her vehicle to report him at the police station, authorities said.
GLASSBORO, NJ — A man was arrested Friday after authorities say he fired shots toward a woman trying to report him to Glassboro police.
Early on New Year's Day, the victim entered her vehicle to drive to police headquarters after an argument with the suspect, Tramaine Norman, officials said. Norman shot her vehicle multiple times as she backed out of the driveway on the unit block of South Delsea Drive, according to police.
The woman reached police headquarters and reported the incident. No one was injured during the shooting.

Officers went to the scene of the incident, but Norman had already fled, police said. Investigators found multiple shell casings, including a round that struck a nearby business, according to law enforcement.
The firearm was a legally registered rifle that the victim owned, said police, who later took it as evidence.

Police found Norman, 34, at a Camden home on Friday and arrested him. He was charged with attempted murder, weapons offenses and criminal mischief.
Norman was placed in the Salem County Correctional Facility, which provides jailing services for Gloucester County.
