South Jersey Man Victimized 7 Kids Through Sex Assaults, Child Porn: Prosecutor
The man is facing 27 charges, which also include meth possession and violating a protective order.
MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Seven victims have been identified in the investigation of a Gloucester County man accused of creating child pornography and sexually assaulting a minor, authorities said Tuesday.
William I. McCray, 25, of Monroe Township, is facing 27 charges regarding sex crimes against children and drug offenses.
In October, a minor told police that McCray sexually assaulted them, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.

Investigators executed a search warrant at McCray's house and found drugs, drug paraphernalia and multiple cell phones. A forensic analysis of the phones yielded about 260 images and 40 video files containing child sexual abuse material, prosecutors said.
Authorities say they interviewed a second victim identified in the files, who also said that McCray sexually assaulted them.

Five more victims were identified in the photos, videos and chat messages, prosecutors said.
McCray was arrested Dec. 3 at his home. Public records show he's currently in custody.
Additional charges were filed Monday in the case.
McCray has been charged with:
- two counts of first-degree manufacturing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- four counts of second-degree sexual assault of a minor
- three counts of second-degree manufacturing CSAM
- second-degree distribution of CSAM
- six counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child
- five counts of third-degree distributing obscenity to minors
- two counts of third-degree CSAM possession
- third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine)
- fourth-degree criminal sexual contact
- fourth-degree violation of a protective order
- possession of drug paraphernalia
Patch contacted the state Public Defender's Office for comment from McCray's listed attorney and will update with any response.
McCray is detained in the Salem County Correctional Facility, which provides jailing services for Gloucester County.
