Two Bridgeton Police officers shot and killed a Seabrook man following a traffic stop on Dec. 30.

Two Bridgeton Police officers who shot and killed a man who had his arms raised during a traffic stop on Dec. 30 will not face criminal charges, the Courier Post reports.
Officers Braheme Days and Roger Worley opened fire after stopping a car in Bridgeton. The passenger, 36-year-old Seabrook resident Jerame C. Reid, was killed in the incident.
The cops had been accused of unfounded drug searches, pepper spraying a handcuffed man and the failure to follow proper protocol when investigating an armed robbery. Those charges were dismissed, but Bridgeton residents were aware of those charges amid protests that erupted after the shooting.
