South Jersey Woman Killed While House Sitting: Prosecutor
The body of the woman was found in the home.

A 26-year-old South Jersey woman was killed while house-sitting, authorities said. The body of Shawneeq M. Carter of Camden was found at about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday inside a house in the unit block of Hopkins Street in Woodbury, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and the Woodbury City Police Department are investigating Carter's death.
Carter had been house-sitting for the home's resident, who was not in the Woodbury area when the body was discovered, according to the GCPO.

An autopsy by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of Carter’s death was blunt-force trauma and the manner of death homicide.
