TD Club Lauds West Deptford's Towns, Dennis
The Eagles' fullback and lineman were recognized this week.
One is an offensive powerhouse, the other a sparkplug on defense.
Now, they're both Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey honorees.
Bruising fullback Gerald Towns received the honor for his effort for against Haddon Township back on Oct. 21, where he dragged defenders all over the field on his way to 139 yards and four touchdowns, including a 42-yarder.

Lineman Scott Dennis was recognized as an Unsung Hero for his consistent play, especially on defense. At just 5-7, 170 pounds, Dennis hardly fits the lineman prototype, but his speed and drive, especially in relief of injured teammate Josh Roane, make him stand out. In the same game that drew Towns the TD Club's honor, Dennis had four tackles and two sacks in just the first quarter alone.
The pair joined teammates Todd Jarrell and Jamil Pollard as Touchdown Club honorees. Pollard and Jarrell were in games against Woodbury and Haddon Heights earlier this season.
