Top Cop In Woodbury Heights On Leave After Alleged Assault: Report
The charge against Joshua M. Moline, Woodbury Heights' Police Chief, stems from an alleged domestic violence incident, the report said.
WOOLWICH TOWNSHIP — The Woodbury Heights Police Chief faces a charge of simple assault after an alleged domestic violence incident in Woolwich Township, nj.com said.
Police went to a home in the township around 11 p.m. on March 19 and "observed signs of injury" on someone who was at the scene, according to nj.com.
Joshua M. Moline, who lives in Woolwich, is accused of causing injury to someone’s neck, according to a summons issued Monday, nj.com said. He was issued a summons to appear in municipal court for a hearing on May 26, nj.com continued.

Moline's attorney told nj.com he believes his client will be "exonerated ... once all the evidence comes to light." Moline has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the court case, nj.com said.
