Trooper’s Funeral Attended By West Deptford Police

WEST DEPTFORD — West Deptford Patrolmen Conor Goggin, Anthony Jiles and William Reichert, along with Lieutenant John Craig attended the funeral of Pennsylvania State Trooper Martin Mack III in Levittown on Thursday.

They were among the estimated 5,000 members of law enforcement — some who came from as far away as California — and hundreds of other mourners expected to attend the funeral and pay their respects to the fallen trooper.

“We sincerely thank [Mack] for his service and keep his family, friends and the Pennsylvania State Police in our thoughts during this difficult time,” a post on the West Deptford Police Department’s Facebook page read. “RIP Trooper Mack, we will hold the line from here.”

Mack, along with Trooper Branden T. Sisca, died after being struck by an alleged intoxicated driver as they assisted a civilian along Interstate 95 in Philadelphia on March 21. The civilian was also killed.

The driver of the vehicle faces several charges related to the incident.
