Two Fugitives Wanted for Murder Arrested In NJ: Cops

Two fugitives in NJ wanted for murder: One allegedly killed a man and injured a woman.

NEW JERSEY – Two fugitives wanted for murder were arrested on Wednesday in New Jersey, State Police announced.

The New Jersey State Police Fugitive Unit arrested Anu-Malik Johnson, 21, and Johnathon Martin, 31, both of York, Pa., for homicide and attempted homicide in two unrelated incidents, police said.

Johnson was wanted by the York County District Court for allegedly shooting and killing a man and injuring a woman on Dec. 2, police said.

Martin was wanted by the York County District Court for allegedly shooting at a moving vehicle and striking two occupants on Dec. 3, police said.

State Police detectives from the Fugitive Unit were contacted by the U.S. Marshals Service Middle PA Regional Fugitive Task Force (RFTF)- York Division and advised that Johnson and Martin were possibly in New Jersey, police said.

An investigation revealed that they were staying at a residence in Pennsville, police said.

Earlier on Wednesday, members of the State Police Fugitive Unit located Johnson and Martin at the residence in Pennsville and arrested them without incident, police said.

Anu-Malik Johnson and Johnathon Martin were lodged in Salem County Jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania, police said.
