Weather Wreaks Havoc on West Deptford Sports Schedule

Rain showers Wednesday morning and the potential for thunderstorms in the afternoon have wiped out much of the sports schedule for the day.

The golf team's home rematch against Haddonfield, the boys' tennis match at Woodbury and the Gloucester County track championships have all been postponed.

The only thing officially still on as of 1:30 p.m. is the Gloucester County Cup boys' lacrosse final against Kingsway at Washington Township High School, which is slated for 6 p.m.

The golfers will face off against Haddonfield Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at , while the county track meet has been rescheduled for Friday at 3 p.m. at Delsea. With the start of the playoffs Thursday, the tennis match with Woodbury has been pushed back to next Tuesday.
