West Deptford Boys', Girls' Soccer Win in Playoff Tuneups
The boys beat Lindenwold Friday and the girls upended Kingsway Thursday.
In their last shots before the playoffs begin next week, the boys' and girls' soccer teams came away with wins to end the week.
The girls took down Kingsway Thursday, 2-1, with Alicia Barger making eight saves to preserve the victory. Ashleigh Peterson and Lily Kalczewski scored in the first half for the Eagles, who hung on in the final 40 to improve to 14-4 overall.
The boys, meanwhile, thrashed Lindenwold Friday behind a huge effort from Kyle Redrow, who had a hat trick and dished out three assists in a 7-0 win Friday. The other goals came from Lewis Hunter, Tim Krott, Hunter Holmstrom and Joey Mingrino.

The girls next face Buena in a first-round home playoff game Monday at 2 p.m., while the boys will host Collingswood Tuesday at at 4 p.m.
