West Deptford Boys' Bowlers Post Top Score for Year, Finish 4th in Group 2

The Eagles posted a 2,732 team score over the weekend.

The West Deptford boys' bowlers put together two of their three highest games of the year, en route to their top series for the season and a fourth-place finish at sectionals Saturday.

The Eagles were led by Matt Novak, who had a high game of 265—with nine strikes to open—and a high series of 574. Chris Barron (559 series) and Jimmy Albert (220 game and 545 series) weren't far behind. Ryan Bilger, who had a high game of 216, and Nick Grassi, who managed a 530 series, rounded out the scoring for West Deptford.

As a whole, the team posted scores of 813, 989 and 930 to finish just behind third-place Deptford. Manchester Township, which posted a 3,083, won the title, edging out Central Regional (2,991).
