West Deptford Boys’ Tennis Snaps Losing Streak
The Eagles nabbed their first win of the season over Overbrook, 3-2.
After weeks of juggling lineups, battling teams shorthanded and coming up short, the boys’ tennis team finally got things together and scored their first win of 2012.
The Eagles got a sweep at singles to beat Overbrook, 3-2, in a Colonial Conference match Wednesday.
Third singles player Brian Keane was the decider in the match; after falling behind to Overbrook’s Zack Moore, who took the first set, 6-4, Keane battled back to win the second and third sets, 6-4, 6-3, and clinch the win.
