West Deptford Cancels Court Sessions Due To Coronavirus
West Deptford has cancelled the next two municipal court sessions.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — West Deptford has cancelled the next two municipal court sessions. Court is cancelled for March 17 and 24, officials announced on Saturday. Anyone scheduled to appear on these dates will be sent a new court date for your case.
"We ask that you contact the Court by phone with any questions or concerns at 856-853-4599," officials said. "We appreciate everyone's understanding."
On Saturday, New Jersey Supreme Court Chief Justice, Stuart Rabner, announced that all municipal courts in the state will begin a two-week suspension starting Monday.

On March 12, Rabner suspended all reporting for petit jury service, announcing that no new civil or criminal jury trials would be conducted until further notice.
Ongoing jury trials and grand juries are to continue at this time. Jurors who are serving on ongoing trials are asked not to report if they are sick or at risk of exposure to new coronavirus.
