West Deptford Girls' Basketball Carves Up Cherry Hill East
The Eagles moved back over .500 on the season with the win.

The girls' basketball team easily bounced back from its second loss of the season, clamping down on Cherry Hill East in a turnover-filled, 45-33 win Wednesday in the consolation of the Gloucester Catholic Christmas Tournament.
The Eagles didn't concede a point for nearly half of the first quarter, and never trailed at any point in the game, relying on their pressure defense to create opportunities throughout the afternoon.
West Deptford was led offensively by the trio of Danielle McKeown (14 points), Megan Kirschling (15 points) and Tarryn Bundy (12 points), but got defensive efforts from up and down the roster, as Cherry Hill East struggled to hold on to the ball under the same swarming style West Deptford used .

With the win, the Eagles move to 3-2 on the season, and are off until next Tuesday, when they take on Gateway at home in the first game of the new year.
