WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — A 56-year-old West Deptford man has died after testing positive for the coronavirus, Gloucester County officials announced Friday morning.

He is the 14th West Deptford resident who has died after testing positive for the coronavirus, and 158th confirmed fatality due to the disease in Gloucester County.

Two West Deptford residents also tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the township to 154. The new cases included a 21-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man.

There were only 13 new cases reported countywide on Friday as the number of new cases continues to drop. Trace investigations are underway for all new cases.

As of Friday, Gloucester County has conducted 17,013 total tests. Of these cases, 14,630 have come back negative. There are 2,383 total cases countywide.
