West Deptford Woman, 100, Dies Due To Coronavirus

As of Thursday, Gloucester County has conducted 8,070 total tests. Of these cases, 6,308 have come back negative and 13 are pending.

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — A 100-year-old West Deptford woman has died after testing positive for the coronavirus, Gloucester County officials announced on Thursday.

She was one of five new coronavirus-related fatalities announced in the county. Gloucester County now has 101 confirmed deaths.

  • The 97th patient death was a 64-year-old female from Washington Twp.
  • The 98th patient death was a 71-year-old female from Deptford.
  • The 99th patient death was an 89-year-old male from Deptford.
  • The 100th patient death was an 86-year-old female from Deptford.
  • The 101st patient death was a 100-year-old female from West Deptford.

A 43-year-old West Deptford woman and a 49-year-old West Deptford woman were among 23 new cases of the coronavirus reported countywide on Thursday. Trace investigations are underway in all new cases.
