West Deptford Woman, 91, Tests Positive For Coronavirus

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — A 91-year-old West Deptford woman is among 18 new cases of the coronavirus reported in Gloucester County on Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, Gloucester County has conducted 7,921 total tests. Of these cases, 6,180 have come back negative and 13 are pending. There are 1,728 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Gloucester County. Trace investigations are underway in all new cases.

Six more Gloucester County residents have died after testing positive for the coronavirus. Gloucester County now has 96 confirmed deaths. The following information is available about the new deaths.

  • The 91st patient death was an 87 year old male from Deptford.
  • The 92nd patient death was a 73 year old female from Deptford.
  • The 93rd patient death was a 74 year old female from Deptford.
  • The 94th patient death was a 92 year old male from Deptford.
  • The 95th patient death was a 59 year old male from Deptford.
  • The 96th patient death was a 91 year old male from Washington Twp.

On Wednesday, Gov. Phil Murphy announced that non-essential retail stores will reopen for online and phone ordering and curbside pickup. Non-essential construction will also be allowed to re-start.
