West Deptford Wrestling Leaps Back in Power Points

What a difference a week–and a correct record–makes.

’s wrestling squad jumped from sixth to third in the Group 2 power points standings, thanks in part to being credited with an 11-0 record–instead of the 7-2 mark they’d been assigned the week before.

The Eagles are ranked just a hair behind Buena, while Delsea remains the clear leader in the group.

The team also remains steady in various statewide polls, consistently marked as No. 2 in South Jersey, Group 2.

Individual wrestlers are making a mark, as well, as Rory Bonner became the first West Deptford wrestler to crack NJ.com’s statewide individual rankings, debuting at No. 6 at 182 pounds.
